meet dr. jenna ornstein
Dr. Jenna Ornstein is a South Florida native who grew up in Boca Raton, FL. She attended West Boca Raton High School where she took part in the medical academy, and this is where she really discovered her love for working in healthcare. Dr. Jenna received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Florida State University in 2018. During her time at FSU, Dr. Jenna had the opportunity to work with multiple division 1 sports and athletes. After graduation she worked as an athletic trainer for a local club soccer team as well as other local sporting events.
In 2019 she started working at Sports Chiropractic and Natural Health Solutions as a rehab specialist. Dr. Jenna enjoyed helping people through corrective exercise, however, wanted to be able to do more for her patients and that’s what pushed her to go back to school and become a Chiropractor. Dr. Jenna attended Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida campus and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During her time at Palmer, Dr. Jenna was a Passive Rehab club vice president where she worked with other students and taught them about and how to perform soft tissue therapies. She was also a student business ambassador for her class where she assisted her classmates with navigating the business aspect of the profession. Dr. Jenna is excited to combine her background in athletic training with her chiropractic practice for optimal patient centered care. Dr. Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, playing sports, and spending time with her dog Aspen.
Dr. Jenna has been trained in multiple modalities and techniques including myofascial release technique (MRT), trigger point therapy, kinesiology taping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), activator technique, and flexion and distraction technique. She believes that the perfect treatment is different for every patient and condition but the combination of passive care, rehabilitation exercises, and the chiropractic adjustment allow her patients to heal, feel better, and get them back to the things that they love to do.
