FLEXION DISTRACTION

Flexion Distraction is a therapy designed to effectively decompress the spine by applying a gentle stretch combined with a series of repetitive movements and thrusts to reduce pressure and relieve pain.  Flexion Distraction is used to increase the diameter of the area that the spinal nerves travel though which helps to reduce symptoms such as pain, tingling and weakness.  Flexion Distraction has helped to relieve pain from spinal arthritis, disc injuries, spondylolisthesis, facet syndrome, lower back sprain/strains, failed back surgery syndromes, scoliosis, zygophophyseal joint hypertrophy and stenosis.  This is a very comfortable and effective alternative to back surgery when severe neurological symptoms are not present.
